An inside look at the core features of ValYouRise — from organization management and RBAC to the interactive OKR board with progress tracking.

After months of building, we are excited to share the first major milestone of ValYouRise: a fully functional OKR platform designed for teams that want transparency, alignment, and real ownership over their goals.
Here is what we have shipped so far — and why each piece matters.
Every team operates differently, so ValYouRise starts with a flexible structure:
option_1) and need-to-know visibility (option_2), where non-admins only see objectives and their own key results. This is not just UI chrome — RBAC is enforced at the API layer, so permissions cannot be bypassed by crafty URL changes.
The centerpiece of ValYouRise is the interactive board view, built with @xyflow/react. It gives teams a visual canvas for their goal hierarchy:
Items are linked in a parent-child hierarchy, and progress rolls up automatically: action progress feeds into key results, which aggregate into objective-level progress.
Not everything fits on a board. The gantt view provides a timeline perspective for deadlines and dependencies, while progress indicators keep everyone informed about where things stand — without the overhead of status meetings.
Teams grow. ValYouRise supports inviting members to organizations and workspaces with role-specific permissions. Accept or decline invitations from a centralized dashboard, and manage members without leaving the workspace.
This release lays the foundation. In the coming weeks, we are adding AI-powered assistance, skill profiles, and reporting — all designed to help teams not just set goals, but achieve them.
